The velt bot’s terms
Last updated 9 October 2026
Using the bot
The velt bot is free. Adding it to a server, or using its commands, means accepting these terms, Discord’s own terms and guidelines, and velt’s community rules.
Not allowed
- Using it to harass people, to spam, or in a server built for anything Discord forbids.
- Trying to make it act against its own checks: moderating somebody above you, handing out roles you could not hand out yourself, or getting around a server’s settings.
- Running scripts against its commands or its economy, or trading its currencies for money.
Servers
A server’s staff decide how the bot is used there, and are responsible for what they make it do. velt can remove the bot from a server, or stop answering in it, when it is used against these terms.
No promises about uptime
The bot is run with care and without charge, and comes without a guarantee that it is always up or that a setting, level or balance is never lost. Nothing in its economy has money value. Liability is limited as far as the law allows; the main terms of use apply where these say nothing.
Privacy
What the bot keeps, and for how long, is in its privacy notice.
