Terms of use
Last updated 12 September 2026
Who this is between
These terms are between you and operator name, who runs velt at velt.lol. Using the service means accepting them.
Who may join
You must be at least 16. You need an invite code from an existing member, or you may pay the entry fee when that option is open. Accounts are personal; do not share your sign-in details, and do not sell or trade your account.
Invite codes are a courtesy, not property. Selling them is not permitted, and codes discovered on resale markets are withdrawn along with the accounts that created them.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of everything you upload and write. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, transform it for delivery such as resizing an image or re-encoding a clip, and show it to people who open your page. That permission ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups that expire on their own schedule and anything we are required to preserve.
What you may not do
The full list lives in the community rules and forms part of this agreement. In short:
- Nothing sexual involving minors, ever. This is reported to the authorities rather than merely removed.
- No intimate images of anyone who did not agree to them being published.
- No personal information about other people: addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, documents.
- No harassment campaigns, and no pages built to target a particular person.
- No malware, no phishing, and no links dressed up to look like something they are not.
- No content you do not hold the rights to.
- No attempts to inflate your own view count, and no tools that do it for you.
- No using the file host as bulk storage or as a backup service.
Handles
A handle is assigned to you, not sold to you. Short handles are held back and granted deliberately. We may reclaim a handle that impersonates somebody, infringes a trade mark, or was taken purely to resell. A handle you release stays unavailable for a period before anybody else can take it, so that nobody can step straight into your identity.
Money
There is one plan and it costs nothing. Every account has every feature and the same allowances; there is no paid tier on sale and nothing is held back behind one. If that ever changes, it changes for accounts made after it changes — see the paragraph below, which is the part that is a promise rather than a description. The cost page says the same thing in fewer words.
Everyone who joined by invitation, and everyone who joined at all before anything was put on sale, is a founding member. Founding members have every feature, including features added after they joined, at no cost, for as long as the account exists. That is a promise, it is deliberately stronger than “what you already have”, and it is written here so it can be held to.
While invitations are the only way in, entry can also be bought. That buys access and nothing else. Payments — entry or premium — are handled by a payment provider acting as merchant of record; their terms govern the transaction, and receipts come from them.
EU consumers have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal on digital services. Asking for immediate access waives it once the service has been supplied, and the checkout will say so before you pay.
Ending it
You can delete your account whenever you like, from your settings. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and for serious breaches we will do so without warning. Where we remove your content we will tell you what was removed and why, unless telling you would be unlawful or would interfere with an investigation.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice. A person reads it.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We aim to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or anything else that cannot be limited under German law.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect and give you the chance to leave. Small corrections take effect when published.
Law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, that does not deprive you of the protections of the law where you live.
