Questions
- Does coloured text show on phones?
- Discord’s desktop and web apps show the colours. The phone app shows the text without them, so make sure the words still read on their own.
- Which colours are there?
- Eight text colours (grey, red, green, yellow, blue, pink, cyan and white) and eight backgrounds. Discord draws its own shades of them, and the preview here uses the same ones.
- Why do I see strange characters instead of colours?
- The block has to start with ```ansi on its own line and keep the invisible escape characters. Copy the whole block from here rather than retyping it.
